Pub Quiz
From Coal Mines to Erasmus –
Europe’s Paths to Bochum

Whether they’re miners or Erasmus students: People from Europe and all over the world have always found their way to Bochum. And that’s exactly what our pub quiz is all about! Look forward to a variety of categories exploring European influences in Bochum: From mining and guest workers to Erasmus, the Eurovision Song Contest, and more. Our host Dîlan Şirin Çelik will guide you through the event in an entertaining and humorous way. The quiz is played in teams (max. 5 people), with various game modes and, of course, the chance to win both small and big prizes.

The pub quiz starts at 6:30 p.m. To help you settle in and get in the mood, there will be music starting at 6 p.m. from the Bochum-based DJ collective Cute Community Radio, who will get you perfectly in the mood for our quiz with some great beats.

Registration

Each team must register in advance; registration is available on the Mining Museum’s website.

This event is a joint initiative of the German Mining Museum in Bochum, the Protestant University of Applied Sciences Bochum, The Georg Agricola University of Applied Sciences, and UniverCity Bochum e.V., held as part of the City of Bochum’s European Weeks.
