Who or what is that?
Working Together for the Bochum of Tomorrow!
UniverCity Bochum e.V. brings together Bochum’s universities and research institutes, the City of Bochum, and other partners from the fields of education, culture, and business. As a knowledge network, we work together to pursue one goal in particular: to further develop Bochum as a city of knowledge that is sustainable, resilient, and innovative.
We are convinced that the challenges of our time can only be overcome by working together. That is why we promote exchange, dialogue, and collaboration across institutions, disciplines, and positions. After all, good ideas often emerge when diverse people and organizations engage in conversation with one another. What is developed in one place can be further developed and put into practice elsewhere.
The Bochum of tomorrow needs collaboration among academia, city government, business, and civil society. This is exactly where we come in: We connect committed individuals, create spaces for dialogue and collaboration, support shared learning, and promote the transfer of knowledge into practice.
